Accounts Department

To prepare financial statements by computerizing the daily transaction records in Tally software and to perform all bank related transactions. To submit three budgets to the Marketing Board in a financial year. To pay all taxes and various dues to the government. To perform all the work related to the accounts department. To issue all orders related to the establishment of all employees of the Market Committee and daily wage workers, to register their leave accounts, to plan their work, to issue relevant instructions, etc.

Grain Department

Checking daily grain purchase and sale transactions, recording the bills received, recovery, conducting auctions. Daily market prices are calculated and uploaded on the website of Maharashtra State Agriculture and Marketing Board, and update annual market prices. In the grain department, the sale of agricultural produce coming from farmers is done through open auction. This auction is held in front of licensed buyers, buyers and farmers. Accurate measurement of agricultural produce is done by licensed measurers. The sale slips of this auction are given through the employees appointed by the market committee. Farmers get the amount of their agricultural produce from the buyers.

The registration of purchase and sale of licensees and buyers at the market yard is done in the Grain Demand Department, and the levy of market fees and supervision fees is done under this department. Daily adat/purchase bills are checked monthly.

Agricultural Product Mortgage Department

Farmers are given mortgage loans on the collateral of their agricultural products. During the season, the arrival of agricultural products in the market increases, and often due to high arrival, the possibility of a decrease in prices cannot be ruled out. During this period, farmers are required to pay agricultural product loans at a reasonable price and to meet their financial needs, the Agricultural Product Mortgage Scheme is implemented under the direction of the Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Department from the Market Committee's own funds. In this department, farmers are given mortgage loans on the basis of the necessary documents.

Cotton Department

Cotton is produced in large quantities in the area of ​​the Market Committee. Cotton is purchased from licensed traders. Market fee and supervision fee are levied and collected from them. The farmer's cotton is weighed correctly and all the details are taken care of till the payment is received.

Incoming and outgoing department

Records of incoming and outgoing daily office correspondence are maintained.
